The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and General Commander of the Armed Forces, Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan stressed that the army will block the way before the plotting against the choices of the Sudanese people, renewing, the keenness of the Armed Forces to protect the change and to bring Sudan to safety through the democratic transition and building a homeland that accommodates everyone.
In his address Saturday evening at the Friendship to a celebration marking the 67th anniversary of the Armed Forces, Gen. Al-Burhan saluted the Sudanese people, describing them as “the inspiring leader who commands, the creator of miracles and the defeater of injustice and tyranny”.
He said that the enemies of Sudan have attempted to undermine the unity of the Armed Forces, and they will not succeed in that, stressing that the Armed Forces’ bias he bias to the living civil forces will safeguard the change that the Sudanese people desired.
He pointed out that the Army will work to boost the principles of the glorious December revolution and will bear with its partners in the revolution forces the challenges of the transition to build a homeland of freedom, pride, peace and justice.
Gen. Al-Burhan affirmed that the Armed Forces represents the values of honor, heroism, pride and pride, and that it will work to protect the Sudanese people and to preserve their pride and dignity.
