Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Mohamed Hassan Al-Taayeshi, Saturday morning left for Al-Fasher, the capital of North Darfur State, heading a fact-finding committee to investigate in the incidents that happened lately at Kolgy and the surrounding areas in the state.
The committee includes representatives of the Armed Forces, the Rapid Support Forces, the Police Forces, the General Intelligence Service and the Attorney General, in addition to members of all armed struggle movements.
On Friday evening, the First Vice – President Vice – President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, held an emergency meeting, with participation of the council’s members Dr. Al-Hadi Idris and Al-Tahir Hajar, and the Governor of Darfur Region, Meni Arko Mennawi, the Minister of Finance, Dr. Jibril Ibrahim, and leaders of the armed movements, and discussed the events witnessed at Kolgy and the neighboring areas in North Darfur State and decided to send a fact-finding committee to investigate in these incidents.
