Christophe Lutundula ,the Foreign Minister of the Federal Republic of Congo, which is the current president of the African Union, arrived Wednesday in Khartoum heading a high-level delegation of the Congolese presidency and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and an expert of the African Union.
He was received upon arrival at Khartoum Airport by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mariam Al-Saddiq Al-Mahdi.
The visit of the Foreign Minister of the Federal Republic of Congo comes as part of a tour he is paying to Ethiopia, Sudan and Egypt to discuss arrangements relating to resumption of the negotiations on the issue of the Renaissance Dam.
The Sudanese and Congolese sides will hold meetings at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
